SP Systems (SPS) is a small, minority owned company, which provides "… professional services to government and commercial clients in space and Earth science, computational science, engineering laboratory support, systems engineering, a broad range of information technology (IT) and administrative and document support services, education and public outreach (E/PO), and logistics support."
SPS was looking to dramatically update and modernize their previous site, while retaining the company’s brand. The content was largely re-written for this redesign, as was the site’s underlying structure. The new site uses XHTML markup and CSS to control the design and presentation. PHP and MySQL were used to develop the needed web-based administrative tools.
